I am having difficulty with my dryer the initial problem was no heat and the timer wasn't advancing. I replaced the Thermal cut off and Dryer Thermal Fuse and have installed a new timer which I purchased the timer from you. The new timer is still not advancing and I still have now heat! Any ideas?

How does the auto dry cycles work?. Is it by sensing the temperature of the exhausted air (assuming dry air is hotter than humid air) or is there a humistat somewhere that senses the humidity of the exhausted air? Both thermostats have been replaced. Prior to and after replacing the thermostats, the timed drying and fluff dry cycles worked fine. However, the auto dry drying cycles tumble dry just fine, but do not advance the timer knob nor auto stop. Do I need to replace the timer to get the auto dry cycles to work properly?
