Timer appears not to be working. One side Left side) of the timer stopped working a couple of weeks ago then the minute side (right side) of the timer stopped working. Basically, the dry would not start. the fluff cycle still works but will shut itself off early. Should I assume the timer is not working?
Answer Dennis, If the timer does not advance on the "timed dry" setting, Yes consider the timer has failed, unless you find a loose or detached wire at the timer motor terminals. You also need to check the exhaust vent system for kinks and clogs and a "dirty" lint filter, since the "auto advance" cycle had an issue as well. Good Luck and Thanks.
