Will this timer fit my 30 plus year old dryer it looks like the same part..
Answer Hello Hal! No, the timer 3406725 is not listed as being compatible with your appliance. The timer listed for your model is part number 3389864. Unfortunately, this item has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available and our company is unaware of any other available sources. Sorry about that!
when on accudry the cycle just shuts off without the clothes being dry. sometimes if you put it on the begining of the cycle it will start other times it wont, and you have to move the dial along the cycle to get it to start then it goes for a while and then just stops.
Answer John, We attempted to send you the information you needed to test and verify the operation of your dryer. The e mails were returned as not deliverable " The error that the other server returned was: 550 5.1.1 Not our Customer". could you please repost your question and apply a proper e mail address. Thanks
Dryer not getting hot, fuse bad, replaced w/ thermo kit, cleaned out long 30 ft run, also replaced vent exit. 3 to 4 weeks fuse blown again, replaced once more. Only 3 days this time, also notice can no longer use the accu-dry settings just reg. time drying. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
You will want to double check the venting just to make sure that there is nothing clogging it. Also check the cycling thermostat to make sure that it is good. The two smaller terminals should have voltage to them when the heating element cycles off. It sounds like the cycling thermostat may be the issue especially since the accu-dry is not working.
