Most Interesting

For two weeks, tub would fill with water, I had to manually turn flat piece under timer switch slowly until it would catch on a wash cycle. Sometimes in permanent & delicate but not in normal. Wash cycle & spin cycle ended too fast. Now machine will not, fill, wash or spin. Knob is pulled out and I can hear little clicks or like its trying to work. Is this the timer needing replaced? My tub is full of water and clothes and can't get it to drain. And the timer it's saying I need says for a 3 cycle & mine is a 7 cycle. Does this matter? Thank You.

I believe that I need a new timer for my washer (Part No. AP4047042). I am trying to dis-assemble the old timer. Is there a special way to separate the timer unit (behind/inside the control panel) from the dial and switch, which are located on the outside (user side) of the control panel?

I have replaced the timer, but it seems like the timer position is off from what the dial position is, is there a way to line them up correctly?
