I ordered and replaced my timer, clutch and lid switch for the same problems others have described but it seems my problem still persist. My washer will agitate during all the 8 cycles but will not rinse or spin. Also with my Extra Rinse function turned off, I am able to activate it with the timer dail. I think I have a deffective timer. Please help!

My washer is not going through a complete cycle, it stops when it gets to the spin portion and does not spin or drain. It does this in the regular wash settings but it works fine in the permanent press and delicate setting. If I use regular wash setting I can only get machine to spin/drain by moving knob to spin setting on permanent press or delicate cycle. I can hear the timer ticking and it seems to advance but no spin/drain. Also on any of the cycles the machine will fill when you pull knob out but will not start agitating until timer reaches the 6 minute even if you choose 15, 12 or 9 minutes. Is this a timer issue or could it be the lid switch since it works in some cycles?? Thanks.

Answer Hello Janice, if your current timer knob 3364291 is not damaged you will not need a new knob. Per the manufacturer you might need a couple of self tapping screws 3400064, the new timer might not have the threads on the mounting holes. Thanks!

The knob on the face of the panel that controls wash cycles has been gone for years. Lately it won't drain and go to the rinse cycle. The only way to drain the washer is to use a vise grip and pull on the threaded bolt that used to hold the Knob to controll start and stop, and continue to pull on it till it drains. Do I also need to purchase the knob and or any other part that connects to this timer part number 3361178C?
