During the heating portion of the "sensor dry" cycle the dryer will stop, buzz, then after a few moments start again. It may do this several times during the sensor dry cycle. It usually completes the whole cycle but sometimes the clothes are still damp. What is causing this behavior?

The dryer heating element does not shut down at the off switch in the cycle, it even seems to get hotter. I replaced the thermostat elements etc. but no dice. Could the timer be bad Thanks

The timer on my Kitchen Aid Dryer when turned using the "timed dry" cycle seems to not be turning the internals of the timer. Sometime it works properly and sometime it doesn't seem to be moving anything inside the timer. The "sensor dry" cycle works fine as well as the "permanent press" cycle. However when using the timed dry cycle sometimes it heat and drys normally and on other occasions it doesn't seem to heat up. Is the timer bad?
