The dryer on this Kenmore laundry system operates only on the low heat setting. Nothing at all happens in Air Dry, Timed, or Normal high heat settings when door is closed and we Push to Start. What part needs to be replaced?

The dryer work but the timer doesn't advance. You must watch the dryer so if doesn't over dry the clothes. Is the timer the problem or something else? Thanks, If the timer is bad I will order one from you once again Thanks,

At first our unit wouldn't work on the the energy efficient side, the dial never moved. Then, the unit wouldn't start but ended up starting again. Now, the unit isn't generating heat whatsoever and after running it for a while and opening it to see if it was creating heat, there is a distinct smell of natural gas. Would could be wrong that heat isn't being generated and we smell gas? Thanks

Latest Questions

Timer does not advance but dryer will turn on and run. It does heat initially but each time after that it will glow and then shut off just before igniting. It keeps doing that over and over. Is a bad timer related in any way to another part being bad or is the timer needing replaced?

Hello. At first the timer knob wouldn't move on the energy efficient side (left) and the dryer would just run until someone manually opened the door. We figured out we could but it on the timer side (right) and the dryer timer would move and the dryer operated during the set time. As of tonight, the dryer will not turn on at all. The start button doesn't seem to start the unit. Could this all be attributed to the timer? Thanks!!!

My dryer ignites, 15-20 mins of running on high heat, the flame goes out, and air drys. The timer knob doesn't move closer to off position, and when I manually shut dryer off and try to reignite, it glows, but will not ignite again. After a 15 minute wait, I try again and it relights. The timer knob has turned off the dryer one of four times. If not, the dryer runs continuously, with no heat after initial first 15-20 minutes of starting.
