Dishwasher. Seems completely dead. Changed out the door switches and the thermal fuse. Still does nothing. I'm thinking timer, but open to other suggestions.
Answer Hello Howard,
You should check the power connection inside the galvanized box behind the kick panel. Many times, if the installer didn't get the wire nuts tight, a wire nut will melt and the unit will lose power to the control. This is also a starting point to troubleshoot for the voltage through the door switches and to the control. If voltage is getting to the control, you will need to check for a possible dropped neutral line. If the unit has a black sound dampening material inside the door and the wiring harness is sticking to this material, the door liner and the wiring harness will both require replacement. If voltage and neutral are getting to the control and no voltage is coming out of the control, the control has failed.
Dishwasher does not completely drain after a complete cycle. Could it be a Check Valve ?
You will want to check for clogs first but yes the check valve could be defective and need to be replaced.
