There is power going to the machine, but nothing seems to be working. It has water in it but will not do nothing else.

My washer fills but will not switch to agitate. I have read lots of forum posts and decided it was between the lid switch and timer. I did however check pump and hoses and they were all fine. I took lid switch off and found that it was broken at the seam so I just replaced it. The washer is still doing the same thing though. It will fill then when it switches to agitate I hear a fast clicking sound which I also hear during agitation when it is working. If I manually move the timer slightly it starts to work. I believe it is the timer but wanted to see if it could be anything else.

Still having issues . . . replaced timer and impeller, but washer does not move to next cycle. It will work sometimes (if I unplug the machine, wait a few minutes, plug it back in), but seems to always stick on the drain cycle. There was one instance in which I open and closed the lid and that got it moving again; however, that trick no longer works. The timer will make a sound (like it wants to begin the next cycle) for about 20 seconds and then stops. Replacement timer was a refurbished unit. Thank you for the help!

Washing machine stops just before drain and spin. Replaced the timer but this did not fix the problem. I hear a buzzing sound coming from the bottom of the washer. Could it be the pump? Prior to this, it filled and agitated with no issues.

Washing cycle stops just before spin cycle (tub will not drain). Originally thought it was clogged or the pump; however, pulled and cleaned all hoses and made sure pump was clear. If I unplug the machine, wait a few minutes and turn it back on it will sometimes work - draining and spinning working as normal. Also occasionally hear a buzzing sound coming from timer. Is this likely part # 8542050?
