Washer finally quit. I replaced the timer and the lid switch. It will fill with water and then do nothing. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Curt
Answer Hello Curt,
You need to check the pressure switch W10339251 for continuity from Violet to Tan when the unit is full of water. You see, when the unit is full, the electrical switches in this component should open to the water valves and close to the motor. If the timer has been replaced, the only thing left in the circuit is the motor and the pressure (water level) switch. The pressure switch is not only the cheaper of the two, but also the more common failure.
washer will not spin some times it will & SOME TIMES WILL NOT. ANY IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE.
Answer Diana, An intermittent spin issue on your brand washer is usually due to a slipping clutch assembly or bad spin tube, 285785 64208 or a damaged motor coupler 285753A as long as the motor runs in the spin direction. Thanks and Good Luck
