changed seloniod still fills and drains
Answer Karen, You'll need to remove the lower rack, spray arm, nozzle and pump cover. You'll need to check the lifter arm Y913200, flapper assembly 6-904467 and spring 6-913202 The flapper has to remain shut until the drain cycle, if the lifter is cracked or rounded out, if the flapper spring is weak or the flapper it selft is defective, when the motor starts, the water movement can force the flapper open and the dishwasher will drain. Thanks
how do I replace the timer? are there any instructions?
Answer Tony, First thing, remove power to the dishwasher. Fully open the door and remove the screws (11) that secure the inner plastic door liner to the outer door panel, and separate the doors, slowly. Disconnect the wires from the detergent dispenser, and finish separating the assemblies, you can use the metal reinforcement panel across the top of the door as a "prop rod" to hold the plastic liner up and against the opening. Remove the timer knob(It pulls Off) Then remove the three timer mounting screws and remove the timer from the control panel, The timer wiring harness has locking tabs , and you need to press in on the tabs, and pull out on the Plastic block. Reverse the procedure, and test the machine for operation.
