The motor stops at middle of cycle. The repair man said it was the timer. What is the correct part number so that I can order?

Having issue with not being able to fill tub with water (for either wash or rinse cycles). Both the Hot/Cold water are operational, but water drains during fill process and never reaches set level. I've replaced the timer thinking there was an issue with switch contacts, assuming it was controlling a drain valve, but looks like I was wrong. From what I see - water going in directly drains out. Can you help? What controls water drain function? Thanks!!
