Latest Questions

I have just bought a replacement 6 hour defrost timer. Which number does the lead go to? No.1 for continuous or no. 2 for cumulative?

Chuck for Model Number Admiral NT23B8SA

I just got a replacement timer 4391974 for my Magic Chef (original TMDG823VB9) and just plugged it in. I saw the black lead on it but didn't do anything but left it there. I'm assumed the new timer is digital and it will do its defrosting automatically (i.e. if it realizes the fridge took a bit longer to run to cool than normal, it will go into defrost mode). Should I connect that wire to 1 (which I believe is a return/neutral) or 2 (which I believe is power in for defrosting), or just leave it as is and assume it will work fine.
