Answer Hello Will, The timer knob is a screw on type of knob and should unscrew counter clockwise. It would appear that if the timer knob is not spinning off then the threading may be stripped. You will more than likely have to replace timer and knob. If you are able to get knob off and the timer shaft is not stripped then timer would not be needed.

Answer Sean, That style Timer Knob "screws" off and on the metal timer shaft. Push in on the knob and turn it counterclockwise to remove it. Turn the new knob clockwise to install it on the timer shaft. Mkae sure you unplug the power cord first, turn the knob on the shaft until the pointer dial starts to turn, that's tight enough. it will tighten as needed. Thanks

Answer Tom, found model LLV8245BW0 (V instead of a Y). The burner control knob is part number 8538957 and the timer knob is part number 3364290. Thanks!

Answer Hello Tom. Make sure the knob is pressed in and access the back of the timer 8539991. Hold the clip on the back of the timer and pull the knob 3364290 off the timer shaft. Hope this helps.

Answer N.K, you will need to inspect the two parts to verify which one has broken. Both can cause the knob not to turn the timer. There is a kit available, part number 280193. This kit will include the timer knob and the dial. This should fix your issue. Thanks!
