I actually have the timer knob itself, but there must be a spring or clip that keeps it attached to the stem? Please help! (the knob is not broken that I can tell).

Answer Hello RK! There is no spring or clip listed for the timer knob 99001872. It seems that there is an insert or a clip within the knob itself that will hold the timer to the shaft once installed. Thanks.
