I have a Maytag washer top loader. When washing, the machine will not complete the rinse cycle. The water just keeps running and the tub dose not fill up with water to star the next cycle. Can you help please.
This issue is what is known as siphoning. You will want to check the drain hose to make sure that it is not pushed down into the stand pipe too far. If it is and comes into contact with standing water in the pipe it would cause this issue to occur. Also make sure that the standpipe is at least 29" tall.
I need info on removing the Timer knob from my Maytag washer
Answer Charles, Your timer 21001325 and timer knob 21001237 have a threaded shaft and knob. Push in on the timer knob, like if you were going to make a selection, and turn the knob counter clockwise(to the left) the knob will screw off the shaft. Sometimes they can get pretty tight on the shaft, but you should be able to do it.
