How can I test the timer for proper operation?
Answer Hello Mark. Remove the wires from the heater and test for 120 volts on each wire. Which ever wire is dead, you will trace and see if it leads to the timer. If so, replace the timer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Can a timer be the reason for a dryer not to heat?
Answer Hello Mark. Yes, if the timer 33001932 is not sending 120 volts to one side of the element, it will not heat. Hope this helps.
