The washer will fill and then does nothing. I replaced the lid switch and this did not fix the problem. No matter wher you turn the control, no noise, no reaction, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

This is a Whirlpool Estate Washer. When you pull out the on switch to start it nothing happens. It won't start and the lid is closed. What could be wrong with it?

Admiral, only 9 mos old. Does all wash cycles fine. Water levels and temps fine. Then, beginning rinse cycle, agitator starts, it begins to squirt water in for about 10 seconds and then water stops, but the agitator keeps going. Workaround: Rotate timer back to wash, wait until it fills with selected temperature water, rotate to rinse and let it finish that way. What's wrong?
