I am in need of a gas burner valve for the right front burner, shown as number 8 in the diagram but there are 2 different part numbers listed with no further information, AP3085068 and AP3596875, which do I need? And is there anything else I will need for the repair such as seals or additional hardware?

Hi I have a Whirlpool sealed burner gas range in a rental home I own. The second burner knob from the right turns without having to depress it. Is it the burner control valve that's bad or is that part of the spark switch assembly that controls the "Detent" in the knob? If it's the valve I see 2 listed one is a "Burner valve" and the other is a "Top Burner valve" which one would I need? Thanks for your help

Latest Questions

I need to replace a valve in my oven. I understand this is the one I need for the right-front burner. My only question is, is there anything special needed (tools or parts) to make the non-threaded gas connection? (I assume here's a gas bar that the valve connects to on the top and then there's the threaded pressure fitting.) Any additional docs or pointers would be helpful. Thanks!

My burner knob fell off & broke from the rod that attaches it to the oven...I've been told I need a new burner valve...Is this correct? Also, how do I take off the top of the range to change it?
