Bought the system used. The keypad will not light up or allow any buttons to function for either the washer or drawer. If you take the touch pad ribbon and remove it. Then reinstall the ribbon...the soak, large load will light up with number 19 ....The tank fills slowly and if you fill it manually, it will run through soak cycle for 19 minutes with timer counting down properly with agitator and spin cycle functioning at proper intervals. Dryer will not work with the touch pad... The board does not appear to be burnt or smell burnt. Seems like the touch pad is most likely culprit...?

The far left side of the touch panel has three wash options, but none respond anymore. Consequently, I can't start a wash cycle. All other touch panel buttons seem to work fine. I'm thinking its the touch pad. Help! If I buy the pad and it doesn't fix the problem, can I return it for a full refund?

Touch pad not working at all, replaced circuit board, still unresponsive. Do I need touch pad or am I missing something else? Have proper voltage at board and even at 1 terminal for ribbon but buttons are all dead.

Answer Hello Bill. If there is power to the control assembly, and it does not work, you will need to replace the control assembly 33001048. Try removing the ribbon cable for the touch pad 306292 and cleaning it. Then see if the unit works. if not, replace the control assembly. Hope this helps.

My stackable dryer, when i hit the pad to start it.,the code came up 8E, the servise people that =checked it said the transformer was burnt. He put the new one in,, same thing.he had me order a relay.did the same thing. thought it was the tranmitter, that didn't solved it. Do you have any ideas? now he thinks its the touch pad. I am wondering if I got a not so good service person.

Answer Hello Karen. 8E is a bad dryer motor relay W10133335. If the relay is new, it could be a bad dryer motor according to the service manual. Hope this helps.
