My ice maker stopped working over a year ago and I have been making my own ice cubes. The water in the door works fine and the container for the cubes works fine.We decided we wanted to try to get the ice maker going again so we first started by replacing the ice maker. I have now replaced the whole ice maker and today the new valve inlet arrived and we have replaced that. The water is still not getting up to the ice maker and nothing is frozen. When we disconnect the hose for the water leading to the freezer for the ice maker it flows fine.I also just replaced a new filter. What else could possibly be wrong? Is there a fuse anything else that would not allow the water to get up to the ice maker? This refrigerator is just 5 years old and still looks new. When the ice maker stopped originally it was all of a sudden and one day it was fine and just stopped. At first we did all the trouble shooting in the book and everything seemed fine except it was not working. This has been very frustrating. What else can you tell us could be wrong. Thanks for your input.

My refrigerator is only 5 years old and like new.Over a year ago the ice maker stopped making ice and we did all the trouble shouting as in the manual and it was none of those problems.I didn't do anything about it and just started making my own ice cubes. The water is fine and I use the ice tray to put my cubes into and the dispenser is fine.My husband just replace the whole ice maker which I ordered and still nothing is working. The sensor indicator lights are also working as it states on your website.I'm wondering if the transformer may be the problem? What does this part do and where is it located?I am totally puzzled and frustrated with all of this.Looking forward to your input.Thank-you
