My transformer had a burnt mark on the red circle.the techican said we needed a new one. I recieved my new one from yous, but afetr installing, it (techican) I am getting the same code 8E that code is why, he said, i needed a new one. did i buy a part that i didn;t need.. please help...karen

Answer Karen, If the red circle was burnt or in pieces you needed the transformer( the red circle is a varsitor, it conrols the voltage into the transformer). The 8E code, indicates an issue in the motor run relay W10133335, the wiring between the motor relay and the control board, or a malfuntioning control board 33001048 Thanks and Good Luck

Answer Hello Karen. You will need to remove the front panel under the dryer. Once removed, make sure the power is disconnected, and remove the screws securing the old transformer under the dryer drum. Unplug the wires on the old transformer and put them onto the new transformer 306062. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
