Ice cutter grid seems to cut slowly. Showing 8 volts at plug is that normal or should it be more.
Answer Paul, 8 to 8.4 volts DC is the correct voltage range for the cutter grid circuit from the control board. The cutter grid assembly should have a resistance reading of 4(four) to 5(five) ohms resistance if it is intact, It sounds like it is operating properly at this point.Perhaps someone has adjusted the cube size to a thicker setting ?
I amd getting a 22 volt reading at the plug in terminals for both pumps. Since pumps are rated at 12VAC is the 22 volts normal?
Answer Hello Jeff,
If you are getting 22 vdc then your transformer [AP3956373 is defective and would need to be replaced. You should have no more than 13.2 vdc coming to the pumps.
