Without a wire diagram how can I verify the Board AP4340863 is operating properly. I got all the voltages in but nothing coming out. Thank you in advance
Answer Hello Robert. Based on the model number you provided, 9762774 is the correct board for your unit. If there is power coming to the control board, but not out of the control board, it sounds like the board is bad in the unit. If you test to t3-3 and ground, when the unit is in bake mode, you should have 120 volts coming to the igniter on the unit. If not, and there is power to the control board, replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Oven wont work or control panel after cleaning. How can I ck the transformer? What is the output voltage? Thermal fuse is good and got pwr to the control board but nothing to the door lock switch or the control panel.
Answer Hi Rob. There is a supplied wiring diagram in behind the storage drawer or the rear control panel . The red and white incoming to the transformer will be 120 vac. You need to check the transformer rating plate and see what output voltage should be (ex. 24 vac or... ).TEST PROCEDURE Refer to page 2-4 for the procedure for servicing the control power and lamp transformers. 1. Disconnect power from the range. 2. Set the ohmmeter to the R X 1 scale. 3. Disconnect the wires from the transformer’s terminals. 4. Touch the test leads to the transformer LINE (primary) terminals. The ohmmeter should indicate 40 to 45 O. 5. Touch the test leads to the transformer LOAD (secondary) terminals. The ohmmeter should indicate less than 1 O. Transformer part # W10111628. There is a control board under the unit at the center . Remove the cover and see if there is an issue there. Board part # W10181438. Make sure the supply wires are tight at the terminal block. Thank You.
