I have ordered part 74003653, which is on back order. How do I remove the old part and install the new?

Answer Hi Mary. Remove the door and set it with the handle facing down off the edge of a protected table top. This way you can just remove the door handle screws and the handle. Then you remove the 3-top trim screws. Then you remove the lower door (at the bottom) 3- screws. The bottom and side trim are all connected and slides into the top trim side pockets. Lower the trim towards the bottom approx. 6-inches to expose the upper trim part # 74003653 lower screws. Once these 2- screws are removed then you install the new trim with bottom screws. Reverse the bottom and side trim and slide up into the new trim side pockets. Tighten the lower trim screws. Reinstall the door handle. Use loktite blue part #F8283401 on the handle threads so they do not easily loosen. Thank You.
