I think that I need to replace the control panel, but I can't see how to remove the plastic piece that is at the top of the actual panel. I assume there must be screws to this, but can't see any. Is it possible that I have to pull the entire unit out from under the couter to access these, or can it simply be pried off?
Is there an exploded view available that would clarify this?
HELP PLEASE!
THANKS!

Answer Hi John. It is easier to remove the power. Then the door. Then the lower horizontal trim piece. This will give access to the side trim lower mount screws. Remove them and then slide the side trim off. This gives access to the top panel lower corners mount screw. It will be easier to remove the side mount screws and pull thew unit out an inch to be able to lift the top panel off the front upper chassis frame. Now you have access to removing the ribbon cable from the clock and replace the parts needed. First re4move the body static by touching bare metal 3-4x so you do not induce voltage into a board and ruin it. White Control Panel part # 4451340. Thank You.
