Most Interesting

I need the Tub-Outer (W10290562) because of the inner bearing failure. I was wondering what all comes with the kit. From other questions, I see that it includes the bearings and seal. When I split the two halfs of the outer tub, the back half which is the part with the bearings also has a "o" ring type gasket that seals the two halfs. Does that come with the kit as well? Is there any bearing or gasket lubricant greese needed?

HI. I have this Maytag washer 3 years old and when its spinning when its getting faster spin it makes a crazy noise. Faster spins the noise is louser. I did open the back I tnink its a bearing. But can't change them out that's what research said I have to change the back tub. It is true or it is a trick to it ? And its a bearing or could be something else? The pully and the belts and the motor are fine. Thank you.

Latest Questions

I had the bearing failure on my washer and replaced the outer tub myself. I threw away the old tub and after I installed the new one I noticed a hole at the bottom backside of the new tub. I cant find anything that attaches to it and dont have the old tub to compare. So I plugged it up and ran the washer. now its giving me an F20 code. I have searched the internet and cannot find anything on it if I should plug the hole or something really attaches there. please help.

Washer was making a lot of noise and had heavy vibration. I opened up the front lower panel and back panel. Shocks are working and may need replacing. In the back, there was a lot of brown dust in the base and streaks of brown from the main bearing. Pully and belt are fine. The inner basket has a lot of up and down play in it. I am thinking the main bearing has failed and I need to replace the outer drum. What keeps the inner basket centered? Thanks, Brent
