Where does the air tub fasten to on the bottom? Can this become plugged to cause the fill valve to malfunction?

Answer Hello Ernie,
The Air tube will connct to the side of the outer tub. If this gets clogged it wil cause the unit to not fill or not fill to proper level. If you are having problem with fill you also want to check your filters on the water valve to make sure that they are not clogged.
AP4026340 Tube air. Does it fit the maytag listed above which is not listed on your site?
