Having ordered a control board, a drain pump and this last week a user interface...I now have problems with the soap reservoir leaving soap left and dishes have soap scum left on them.. Almost as if the dishwasher is not going through the cycles as it should be. I have cleaned all the parts, filter, ran a dishwasher wash through it.....and still no good results. Help.......what is wrong?

Answer Hello setona p. It sounds like either the float is stuck, or you will need to replace the water valve on the unit due to not filling all the way up.

Please help me diagnose my kitchenaid...... Don't know if I have a lemon or not. Owned the dishwasher for 5-6 years. I really liked it because it is stainless in side and has extra loading capacity. Have had it worked on for a number of issues. The dishwasher was not draining.....so took all apart and removed any debris also put in a washing aid......ordered a drain pump.....that seemed to work for a while....now not draining.....I press the cancel and then it will drain. I hear the water draining into the sink... The panel on touch with the touch pad...call the user interface board was changed out last year....early 2011. Also the console escutcheon was replaced. Now the board seems faulty....in that it will cancel with the light on ....but the light wash light will not come on and the light cycle does not work. Could all this trouble be caused by a faulty panel board again?

Answer Setona, Your most likely issue is a fault in the User interface board 8270169 and or the ribbon cable 8524447. We're sending you some additional information. You will need to check for "water marks", condensation and moisture inside the control panel 8524445 and door assembly, to make sure the early failure of the components is not due to moisture in the control panel.

Answer Hello Danny. No, the user interface 8270169 does not come with the lables. For that you will need to order 8524445, the control panel. Hope this helps.
