I have this kenmore washer that worked fine when we stored it, has been sitting in garage for 2 years, not climate controlled. Will fill with water fine and agitate but will not spin out. Help

Answer Hello Israel. Check and make sure the lid switch 3949247 is good on the unit. If not, it will cause the problems you are having. Disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the two screws in the back corners of the control panel securing the control panel. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. You can now access and replace the lid switch 3949247. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
