Am trying to get the closed bottom apart from the glass in order to change the valve and igniter. Can't get at them as I just can't get the assembly apart. I've taken the burners and drip pans all out and still have not been able to figure this out. What am I not doing correctly ?

I have a five burner electric/gas stove. The number one (top left) burner short circuited after a liquid fell on the harns-wire (square piece that sits on the burner). Blue burst of light was seen when I tried to turn it on. The pilots also all clicked but the stove didnt turn on. After several minutes of drying liquid, three of the five burners turned on except the top left and bottom left. I ordered this piece and a harns wire and realized the burner was slightly different. The picture on the right (of part AP3853336) shows a small exposed silver bearing just to the left of the orange bushing. The original piece I removed does not have that exposed bearing. The stem and body of the valve burner is copper colored. The end of the original stem is painted white. The end of the stem of the valve burner I received is painted yellow. Top left burner and top right burner stems are painted white. Top middle stem is black and the two bottom stems are yellow. My question is this: Will the exposed bearing have an effect on the way the burner works? Is it safe to use on this stove? Is it just a design change? I received a yellow painted stem. So does that mean I ordered the wrong valve burner? Should I re-order one that is painted white? What do the colors mean? If I have to re-order which part is it here on the web site? Thank you for your time. I tried the live chat and speaking with a rep. Both options were ineffective. I hope you can clear this up for me. Luis
