The center burner continues to spark when the control knob is turned to the off position. If I replace this burner valve will this eliminate this problem? This is a bran new range. Sparking bagan as soon as I put the plug into the outlet. All of the control knobs were in the off position. The other surface burners do not have this problem.

Answer Hi Joe. You might just void all warranty if you decide to fix yourself. Not that we won't ever help but out of all around concern for your better half, I wanted to advise you. The burner spark switch is on the burner shaft. If this switch is bad or the wire is pinched or shorted then this is the part you will need. Part # is W10111806. Thank you.
