My question was answered 23Jan13. This is a follow-up. I tried to tighten the filter I had replaced a week ago as suggested and it would not yield further. However I replaced the filter with the by-pass cover and everything worked fine. Would this indicate a faulty filter (it was new a week ago) or faulty filter head assembly?

Noise generated 1-2 seconds when dispensing water and ice-maker is refilling, pressure drops to a trickle. Changed the filter with no effect. Checked supply line and there was little pressure. Line upgraded, pressure resored. Removed water tank, saw bubbles on all 5 sections. Tank immersed in hot water for 10 minutes, reinstalled, no effect. Dual water valve replaced, no effect. Ordering the tank today. Do you know of any other sources that could generate a loud vibration noise behind the plastic cover of the tank and filter assembly when water is dispensed and ice-maker refills?

Replaced filter no water or ice, install bypass plug made no ice but dispensed water now won't dispense anything has good water pressure. Unloaded turned off for day still nothing dispenses. Disconnected water line water drains out water line when pushing dispenser. I think that the water valve is bad (diaphragm in valve is soft and swollen), but I don't know if that would cause it not to dispense with a new filter, or do I have more or different problem?

I think I have a bad valve. My water dispenser dispenses water very slowly. There's no problem with ice maker, and there's good water pressure from the source. I understand I should read 500-500 Ohms on the valves. I measured nothing on one valve, and <200 on the other.

The water line was blown out with compressed air and the unit was un plugged in the Fall as we typically do. After the unit was plugged back in once we returned and water supply was turned back on, the water dispenser was fine but after several hours and now weeks no ice. I also don't recall hearing water filling the tray. Where do I start?
