Answer Hello Larry. This unit ships out set up for natural gas. If anyone has modified it to work with LP, there should be a sticker stating that it has been changed. If the sticker has been removed or is unreadable, you may want to remove your actual gas valve and compare the orifices to the ones in kits 306205 (LP) and 306206 (NG). A visual comparison may help you determine which one is installed. I hope this info helps!
