My Whirlpool oven does not work. The controls are all working though but when I turn on the oven, there is no flame coming out? Is it the gas valve?

During elec. power failuer can the top burners and oven be lit with matches? If not, can a Battery Spark Ignition system be installed to replace the existing electrical digital? Should you care not to discuss the latter issue in your Q/A, I would appreciate a phone call

My oven is not working, there is a small amount of gas coming then it stops. The mode seems to not make a difference. The igniter makes two detectable sounds. My wife turned on self-cleaning years ago and has not worked until the digital control started working after a small cleaning with baking soda and peroxide. To the stove on top only.

Hi, the Bake function of my Whirlpool Accubake, WFG361LVS1, is not working. The stove-tops and broiler light and stay lit. When starting the Bake function, the igniter clickes twice, the Bake burner lights from front to back, stays lit for a few seconds, then shuts off. The sound made at this point sounds like the gas is being shut off. I tested the resistance of the Bake-to-common terminals and the Broil-to-common terminals on the gas value assembly and received 198 Ohms. The expectation was 216 Ohms. Is this an acceptable value for this part? Since the Bake and Broil terminals have identical resistance, but the Broil function works and Bake function doesn't; does this point to an issue with another part? Is it still necessary to measure the input DC voltage of the part when activating the Bake function? Would my electronic igniter module be the issue? Please help as soon as possible, Thanks, Chris

My oven will not re-ignite. The stove works and the broiler works. I just replaced the igniter. It lights, but will not re-ignite to maintain temperature for baking. Is this a gas valve issue or just a bad product?

This is now the second time in 6 months this part #Whirlpool W10293048 Gas Valve has quit working on me. I bought from amazon and they have refunded me but how do I know if I buy this part again that it won't quit working after a month. Would there be something else wrong. I ran the self clean yesterday and it worked fine, after the clean was done now the oven will not lite??
