My problem is water drips at the dispenser. Is replacing a new valve right solution to solve this problem?
Dan for Model Number 2199838
Answer Hello Dan. Yes, if there is no power coming to the wires attached to the valve, and the water is dripping, you will need to replace the water valve 2199838 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Answer Mike, If you haven't yet, check and replace th water filter first 4396508, A clogged filter will reduce the water pressure and flow to the door dispenser. Then move to the water inlet valve 2199838 You most likely have debris built up in the debris screen, slowing the water flow, based on your description. Don't forgrt to flush the water supply line, before you attach it to the new inlet valve, and follow the flushing instructions for the new filter as well. Good Luck and Thanks
