What is causing my dishwasher to drain during wash and rinse cycles? It does drain properly at the end of the cycles. I have already replaced the impeller pump assembly.

Answer Hello Red,
Of course, You need to check that the drain line is suspended up to counter top height before connecting to the sink drain. If it goes down through the floor, it has to have a siphon break installed to operate properly. This pump also has a check ball that can either stick because of food residue or mis-assembly. If you have not had the unit torn down to this point, the use of dishwasher magic TJ104 or white vinegar should be used to cleanse the internal parts for the check balls sake. If these things check out okay, it is most likely a stuck set of contacts in the timer 3370249.
Hi. Does this valve work on an electric signal to open and close, cause I dont think mine is working right? If I move the connection, you can sometimes get it to fill.

Answer Hello. Yes, it recieves power from the timer/board on the dishwasher. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1 to see if there is power coming to the valve. Hope this helps.
