I need to replace water mix valve. How do I get to it to remove and replace?
Answer Hello Russ. On the back of the washer, remove the hoses from the valve after the water is turned off and the power is disconnected. Then remove the screw securing the bracket to the cabinet. Remove the bracket and the wires and hose from the water valve. Install the new water valve 34963 onto the unit. Hope this helps.
When my washer is not in use, it leaks water into the tub. Would a bad "mixing valve" be the problem? Thanks - Justin
Answer Hello Justin. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the mixing valve 34963 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
