I ordered and installed a new gas valve for my stove. After installing a new valve my oven burner flutters and does not keep a consistent flame. It does not go out though. I have consistent voltage to the valve. I might need a new regulator valve? The reason i got a new valve is the oven was not heating up at all.

I have a Maytag stove that is not getting hot when I turn it on. The lights works on main panel. During preheat the igniter gets hot. When the top stove burner is on, 1 out the 4, the oven lights but turn off the top burner and the oven goes out. It works when it wants to.

Is there a Control Panel Reset Function, or can a Oven Valve Reseeding be an analytical try to see if an Oven Valve is malfunctioning? Oven and Broiler not working. Stove Top working, Oven Panel displays operational. Single Click when starting Oven or Broiler. I have 1 Igniter Kit Replacement Part Number/AP4012072. I will give new Igniter a try. Level One support informed me it may be one of three issues: Igniter, Oven Valve or Control Panel related. Thx Gary Titone garytitone@aol.com (718) 899-9041
