My ice maker was over flowing dripping into my ice bin freezing ice into clump. Then it stayed on and flooded inside of freezer and leaked out onto floor?

Currently I have no ice or water filling the ice maker. However, I do have water at the dispenser. At Appliance Parts Pros advice, here is what I have done so far: 1. Replaced the ice maker D7824708Q 2. Replaced the inlet valve 12544002 3. Replaced the secondary valve 12002193 4. Removed the fill tube and inspected for cracks and freezing 5. Jumped the ice maker with 16 gauge wire i.e. H and T terminals By questions is what's next? When I jumped the ice maker am I suppose to hear something? Should the motor engage? What should I expect? Would something lead be to believe that the ice maker is bad? I am curious as to what you suggest In the next couple of days I am going to test both of the replacement valves with a multimeter. Perhaps one of the solenoids is bad? Interestingly enough, my old valves test between 200 and 500 ohms, which means I did not have to replace either valve. I will await your advice.

Hello- I have a Maytag side by side fridge, with water in the door and an icemaker. I randomly have trouble with the icemaker inlet freezing and then water overflowing into the ice bin and down the side of the freezer. The tube doesn't freeze, the small spout where the tube goes into freezes and then won't take any more water. I replaced the inlet valve about 6 months ago and it has been better, but now has started back again. Do I need to replace the ic maker itself, or the inlet valve again? Thanks
