Most Interesting

Have a Kenmore Elite Washer that fills extremely slowly with water (intermittently) while the machine is not in use. Water is clear (clean). If the door is open, the water will slowly leak out and cause the floor of the laundry to get flooded. My guess is that the intake valve solenoid is not staying closed. However, I have never heard the water running. Does this sound like the likely cause of the problem.

Every now and again i will get an f20 error. I ran a diagnostic test and nothing showed up. Ive taken off the flow meter and blew through it...it seems to work by making a wistle sound. The inlet valve had some sedimentation so i cleaned it out. I did these things b/c now my fabric softener is still in the dispenser after the load is over....also now my detergent powder is also there after cycle. This means there is very little water getting to the front of the dispenser tray. I have looked above the dispenser tray and all holes look clear. Tray is clean as well. What are your thoughts. I am not completely lacking water but its obviously having trouble....by the way my water volume and pressure is great i checked it. thanks
