My washer spins but not fast enough. It leaves the clothes too wet. This happened after I washed a comforter that was too big. From other posts I have read it sounds like the solenoid. Does this sound like a DIY project and does it sound like I have the correct part?

My washer was smelling terribly so I replaced the original belt that was worn badly. It now runs quieter and less odors. We now get an occasional stink that smells like the water that drained from the pipes when I removed parts to replace the belt. Is this due to a worn pump not expelling enough water or some other problem?

Am replacing the water pump. Is it correct that in order to do this, I must remove the motor and pump as an assembly and then replace the pump?

My washer is leaking during the filling stage once it it a couple of inches in the tub. The hoses all seem ok and no signs of moisture on them. There is water sitting on the pump in the center near the shaft area (center of the donut area). Do you think that it is from the pump wearing out and needing replaced?
