The washer is really loud while spinning is this normal and if not then what part will I need?
In most cases when the unit is making a noise during the spin cycle then the issue will be caused by bad tub bearings. For the issue you can go one of 2 different ways with replacement. The first option is to replace the main tub which is part number W10193886. The second option is just to replace the shaft and bearing assembly which is part number W10435302 but will need a bearing tool part number W10447783.
Can you provide detailed instructions on changing the washplate in this model. Also if something is out of stock, How long does it usually take before coming in stock again?
Answer Stephanie, here are the instructions on removing the wash plate in your washer, 1) unplug power cord from outlet 2) Tape the washer lid closed. 3) Using a putty knife, press and unlock the two front top locks. The locks are approximately 6-1/2? from the outside edge of the washer.1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Raise the cabinet top . 3. To remove the basket: a) Loosen the clamp and pull the recirculation hose off the tub ring. b) Pry out and unsnap the tub ring tabs from the tub and remove the tub ring. c) Insert the blade of a small screwdriver into the slot in the impeller cap, then pry the cap up, and remove it. d) Remove the 7/16? hex-head bolt from
the impeller, then lift and remove the impeller from the basket. NOTE: Lifting the basket will assist in removing the impeller.
As for parts delays or backorderred parts availibility, We have no idea, it is dependent on the manufacturer production schedule, but it is in the area of 10 to 14 days on average. Thanks and Good Luck.
