What is the correct technique for removing the factory installed hose clamps on the above part (AP4028373)? Factory installed hose clamps do not have screws to tighten the clamp. They appear to snap on permanently. I want remove the hose clamp without damaging the hose. Thanks.

Answer Hi Donald. You just remove the clamp by using either blunt nose pliers or a pair of channelock pliers. It ids helpful if you use a small pair of needle nose vise - grips. Thank You.

I have an old Maytag washing machine, Model Number LAT9416AAE. The lower injector (part number 22) has cracked and must be replaced. There are two part numbers for this part, 22 and 23. Part 23 is an assembly of the upper and lower injector and the hose. The lower injector part of number 23 should be identical to part number 22, but it is not. The lower injector in part 23 includes a flange that extends over the bend in the hose and matches the design of the broken injector on my washing machine. This flange does not appear in the pictures of part 22. The flange in part 23 appears to offer some structrual stability that would minimize fatigue in the area where the injector attaches to the washing machine cabinet. Is the photograph of part 22 accurate? If so why is it differet from the lower injector in part 23? I would prefer to replace just the broken part (22), but it appears that I must use the kit because part 22 does not match the design of the part I am replacing. Are the two designs truely interchangeable? Thanks for you opinion.
