My dishwasher will not fill with water. When I turn it on it makes a continuous grumbling noise. Could it be the water inlet valve or is it something more serious? How can I tell?
Answer Hello Joe,
You should check for items preventing the float switch from dropping. Check the drain pump also. From this point, you need to verify the Model number from the units' I.D. tag. This will enable us to actually pull a wiring diagram and parts list for diagnostic and repair parts for you. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Water keeps filling in DW even when not in use. What Part is needed?
Answer Hello! Based on the information provided you'll need to replace the water inlet valve part number 8531669. Thanks!
After installing, water line, drain and electrical, not enough water going in and didn't drain and didn't completely the cycle. I went back to Lowes and I was told I no longer have warranty. Please help. I was told that there is a shipping rod that maybe I forgot to remove?
Answer Hello Troy,
You need to verify sufficient water pressure to the unit and make sure you haven't crimped the water/drain lines during the units' installation. If no problems are found, I would replace the water inlet valve and the drain pump. The part numbers will of course be determined by the model number as with all appliances.
