I have no water to the glass fill, but I do have water to the ice maker and it makes all the ice I need. What is wrong here and what parts do I need to replace.

Answer Hello Russ. Test and see if your getting power to the water valve when the dispenser is calling for it. If so, you will need to replace the valve. Hope this helps.

I came home one day to find my icemaker was pouring water all over my freezer and consequently my kitchen floor. Any idea what caused that? We just shut it off and are using bag ice. Is there a part we need to replace or do we need to replace the entire unit?

Answer Hello Sue! Check and see if there is power at the water valve from the ice maker. If so, you will need to replace the ice maker 2198597. If not, then you will need to replace the water valve W10408179. Hope this helps!
