My water level switch is broken at the shaft that meets the knob. A prior repair with glue/epoxy has fused both together and has broke away from the switch. What parts do you believe I need? Is there any salvaging the existing parts since there is only a break?
thank you

Law for Model Number type 111 roper
Answer Hello Law,
The switch and the knob will require replacement. I would be happy to post part numbers for you with a valid model number. You see, the model number is how all appliance parts for all brands are looked up to prevent ordering the wrong part repeatedly.
I am planning to replace the Water Level Switch on my Whirlpool machine, but am unable to locate the 2 screws that I need to remove to remove the control panel. How do I find them?

Answer Hello Robert. This model does not use screws. Disconnect the power to the unit. Release the two clips under the corners of the control panel securing the control panel. You can use a flat blade putty or butter knife to do this. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards.
