Hi I have a question about the connectors on a Whirlpool washer LHW0050PQ4 that connect into the Drain Pump 8182415. I am installing a replacement pump. I want to know if each connector needs to be inserted into a specific terminal on the pump. The pump terminals are labelled L and N, but the connectors are identical (tan). How do I know which connector goes in which terminal? Thanks for the help.

The water pump does not seem to be working. It makes a grating noise when it runs. I took it out and found that the impellar was loose, flopping around inside. I re-attached it, re-assembled it, re-installed it but it still makes a grating noise and doesn't seem to pump very well. I took it out and tested it, it seems to run, the impellar spins when I power the pump, although it does seem weak. I don't want to buy a pump I don't need but I still suspect it's not working right. Last time I ran the machine it pumped for several minutes before stopping and when I removed the pump water poured out of the drain hose -- about 1 gallon, doesn't seem right. The pump label says: Plaset 66114

My front loader washer does not drain when it gets to spin mode. Then the yellow light flashes on spin and done. If you hold the hose low to the ground it will drain some what. I was thinking it might be some kind of sensor. Do I need to replace the water pump or could this be something else?
