The timer has been replaced and the washer cycles, but there is no hot water.
Answer Hello Randy. If there is power to the hot water valve, and no water, you will need to check the screens and water supply coming to the unit. If all of that is good, then you will need to replace the water valve 35-2374N on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Is this the part I need if I can't get cold water? Everything else was checked but I was not willing to pay 200$ to this repairman.
Answer Hello Janice. If there is no power coming to the cold water solenoid, then the switch 21001226 could be bad. If there is power there, then the water valve 21001932 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
