How do I change the water resovoi tube?

To replace the reservoir tube you will need to remove the 2 lower crispers in the refrigerator. Pull unit out and turn off water supply. Pull lower cover off the back of the unit and the toe grill off the front of unit. Disconnect the connector to the water line to freezer door. Remove the water valve and disconnect the 5/16" water line that goes to the water tank. To disconnect it may have a push connector. Push in on the ring around the tubing and pull out on tubing at the same time. Once water lines are disconnected you would pull old tank out and install new. When pushing tubing down through the floor. the longer line will go to the freezer door. Reassemble in reverse.

Answer Hello John,
In order to change the tubing through the door you will need to remove the dispenser section parts. You will use a flat blade screw driver under the bottom front of dispenser trim and pry loose. Once you have this done you willl have to remove the dispenser bracket and levers. At the bottom of door remove the coupler on the freezer side of the door. Once this removed you can pull water line out. You may want to tape new water line to the old and pull out from hinge or you could pull up from dispenser side. Once through you can reconnect lines. The water line that goes back under unit to the water tank is part of the water tank and tank would have to be replaced to replace this line.
